Dangerous Corner
As you all know, I got a role in J.B. Priestley's play "Dangerous Corner". I'm playing the lovely Betty Whitehouse (who may or may not be as lovely as she seems).
Dangerous Corner is J.B. Priestley's first play. He is probably most famous for his play An Inspector Calls. For the duration of one dinner party, Dangerous Corner explores the relationships, hidden agendas and secrets of a group of six friends. Bit by bit the truth and nothing but the truth is uncovered:
Charles Stanton: "I think that telling the truth is about as healthy as skidding round a corner at sixty." Freda: "And life's got a lot of dangerous corners--hasn't it, Charles?"
Dangerous Corner is put on stage by Berne's English speaking theatre group Upstage and directed by Jeff Scattini.
